The monitor allows you to view what information has been requested by the
user to view on the PC, exactly as we are doing now. I am sure you all knew
that so my apologies for any offence caused. The monitor is available in two types, these are CRT and TFT, many sizes are available from 15" upwards for both styles, the price of the TFT monitors are dropping all the time and I am sure we will start to see less and less CRT monitors, as they are bulky and take up a lot of desk space. The TFT monitors are a lot clearer and allow you to reclaim a lot of desk space, instead of having your monitor at the side of the desk so that you are always looking to the side you can with a TFT put it directly in front of you. Attached to the rear of the monitor are a power plug, and a lead that will plug into the back of your pc, the connector is a d-shape with 15 pins inside, because it has pin it known as a male connector.   |
